Tom Coyne's Long Walk

Tom Coyne, a local from Philly, is now a hero of mine, having just published a book on his great adventure, walking around Ireland, playing golf, drinking pints and whatever else happened along the way - the Ultimate in Gonzo Golf.

He did this on his own mind-you, and wrote a series of articles and a blog of his adventures (http://acoursecalledireland.blogspot.com/), most now also available at Golf.Com (aka Golf Magazine), with excerpts of his book "A Course Called Ireland : A Long Walk in Search of a Country, a Pint, and the Next Tee," (Gotham Books, 2008).
